Since my final project will explore wearable technology, I used this weeks assignment to experiment with printing fabrics that would allow for flexibility in order to adjust to the human body. NinaFlex is a flexible filament that I used for my studies.

3D Fabrics

fail. 3d printer ultimaker can not print with ninjaflex
using 3d printer lulzbolt taz 4 made it work
option 1: fabric thickness 1/32" and openings size 1/4" x 1/4"
option 2: fabric thickness 1/64" and openings size 1/8" x 1/8"
option 3
testing flexibility of materials
next steps: how to create more complex fabrics (do we have printers that could do that?)
